ONE RACE DIVIDED

                           We aren't ONE but DIVIDED

                                                        One race collide

seeing the world through rose colored lenses can be interpreted in a number of ways, when you put on your pair of glasses you could be seeing far differently from what i'm seeing. South Africa has a known culture that we are a 'one' rainbow nation, but also famous for their vicious hatred against foreigners, according to social network comments most South Africans believe that foreigners reside in SA only to steal their jobs, well-being opportunities and chance at a better life.

I'm sitting at my office desk, next to me is my colleague Patrick, who is also a foreigner from Zimbabwe who has the same skin color as an ordinary South-African man, same problems and same issues but even more over because of the nasty looks and comments they get on the streets. what really baffles me is the treatment that one black person can give to another without even thinking twice about what he/ she is going through or to even find out what the reason behind them residing in SA.

South Africans need to think back at Apartheid times and remember how it felt like when the guns when pointing at them and maybe reconsider their actions towards foreigners.
